A funny old week

As this week draws to a close, we’re no further on with the ‘big thing’ that I’m being circumspect about on here. I’m being circumspect as there isn’t much to report, but it is having a large effect on our lives. Helpful? Much?

While tension has been tight and high, we’ve not had an argument. In fact, we’ve continued to pull together and I’ve enjoyed the long-ranging conversations we’ve been having. However, I’m not going to lie to you, things in our life are going to have to change. It’s a difficult time for both of us, and for everyone who has been cheering us on, we love and thank you all. I may get a chance to write it out on here, but I don’t know.

We’ve also had a viral thing run through us, not bad, but enough to drive you to bed shivering under a duvet and cause a croaky throat. Poor Peanut has manfully carried on all week, just been a bit husky and sleeping lots to get over it, but I was a wuss and went to bed at 6:15 on Wednesday night, then headed home at lunch time on Thursday to my bed. I felt heaps better this morning so it was worth it to get rid of it quickly.

I’m hoping that I can be a bit more loquacious next week. I might have more to report, this week has been quiet, what with one thing and another. I’ve not been to the gym all week and feel awful for not setting my alarm to get there, I will head up tomorrow morning after swimming.

So on this exciting note, have a good weekend.

  1. Didn’t get a chance to speak to you about it on Sunday and didn’t really even want to raise it and bring the mood down… I’ll sms you to schedule time for a coffee soon. In the meantime, know that I’m thinking of you and hoping for things to start looking up soon. T xo
