The perils of day-time television

I had to go back to the dentist today, a replacement filling wasn’t sitting right and causing me grief. I whizzed into Gunwharf Quay to pick up my order from Next and have spent the day reading and avoiding TV. Although I love Mad About You, Frasier and other American comedies, it never ceases to amaze me that with 100s of channels on Sky, there never seems to be anything on. I have found the answer, don’t switch the box on.

It has been a gloriously sunny day here, although really windy, I have done a bit of washing, tidied up, fell asleep on the sofa – well it is me we’re talking about here, and enjoyed a lazy, leisurly day. TB is due home soon, then we are going to do battle in Tesco.

Bring it on!
